Title: The Repercussions of Having Bad Hygiene (Go Further Than You Think Remix)
Author:
snorkackcatcher
Summary: Severus Snape has bad hygiene -- in the opinion of Sirius Black. who pointedly tells him so. Severus Snape has dirty blood -- in the opinion of Regulus Black, who unwittingly tells him so. One telling leads to the other -- and both have surprising repercussions once they all start school.
Fandom: Harry Potter
Characters: Severus Snape, Regulus Black, Sirius Black, Lily Evans, Lucius Malfoy, Eileen Snape
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: Borrows JKR's characters and world.
Original story: The Repercussions of Having Bad Hygiene by
rynne.
Notes: The original fic was written post-OotP, and thus naturally assumed Snape was a pure-blood. It looked very different in the light of the revelations in HBP and DH, which seemed an interesting theme to explore. My apologies for taking an intentionally light-hearted original and repainting it in rather darker and more sombre colours! Thanks to
lupinslittlesis for the beta.
