Notes: The original fic was written post-OotP, and thus naturally assumed Snape was a pure-blood. It looked very different in the light of the revelations in HBP and DH, which seemed an interesting theme to explore. My apologies for taking an intentionally light-hearted original and repainting it in rather darker and more sombre colours! Thanks to lupinslittlesis for the beta.
