It's so sweet to see Chase try to get this just *right*, as if now that he's with Cameron, he finally has a reason to want a proper, full Christmas. You did a good job descring his attempts at overcoming the little, yet huge, annoyances, in the way of his vision. :)
He felt tempted to break into the conversation and remind them that Christmas was actually about hope of redemption and new beginnings and pudding.
