Sorry it took me so long to reply to this. I am so, so glad you like this, and that you got the alchemy bit - that was very specifically for you :-)
I think it needs one or two more scenes (Methos' thoughts on House, for one -- the precedent/context for "Were I your physician", and possibly Joe's pov on the phonecall from Methos.
But really, I am just very happy that you like what I did.
