I'm a bit torn between being a reader and having had intentions - as letting Lucy win in my story had been an intentional subversion of her role - but on the other hand, what happens in yours is exactly what I thought would if she ever put the ring on. (One reader had asked me about this in a comment to the story and I said Lucy had probably read the The Lord of the Rings.) And this is the Master. He always comes back.
