Of course this works beautifully closer to canon in your hands, love - I was in a state of fannish confusion just a few days post-AWE when I started writing this, a state of Canon = Does Not Want, I'm afraid. I've mellowed considerably since then *g* I love Will telling her he wants her to be free to create her own life, Lizzie saying that this is why she loves him, and Jack automatically assuming that meant they'd talked about him :-)
