I'm so thrilled you liked this -- your story about Wanda, Pietro, and Carlos in the New World was one of the first things I reread to get back in the feel for this 'verse.

aphrodite_mine's original story does a great job of bringing the Dark Phoenix into the 1602-verse (I read this fic ages ago, and I've always thought of it when rereading the comic) -- so pulling House of M Wanda into it seemed like the next step.
