You're welcome! I loved your original way back when I first read it, and every time I've reread 1602, I've thought about how that version of the Phoenix could fit into Gaiman's universe. So I was thrilled to have the opportunity to write this one, and -- since I've always been interested in the similarities and contrasts between Jean and Wanda as characters -- this seemed like an opportunity to expand Wanda's role as well.
