I love the crew's reactions, Simon's doctor-y responses (particularly to Wash's shell-shock), and I especially adore how you played up the easy comradery/playful familiarity of Simon and Kaylee in a relationship -- they give me the warm fuzzies.
And this story was really written because the idea of Kaylee pulling the fake "me too" on Simon popped into my head and, much like Kaylee, I couldn't resist. I liked the addition of the shaddow belly, a lot.
