Getting to this belatedly -- how fantastic, and perfect. The evolution of Atia & Octavia's relationship over the course of the show was my favorite thing about Romeexcept for Antony in eyeliner and this captures every nuance perfectly. The idea of hurting her daughter so other people don't hurt her comes through from the beginning. It's also clear how Atia (not just Octavia) matures over the course of the story. I love it!
