Wow! Oh, remixer, thank you SO MUCH! I'm amazed and impressed and overjoyed by how you expanded that tiny little fragment of a story into a real one, and how you made it canonical, and how you made room in it for all the worse things that have happened since I wrote that drabble (it couldn't last more than a month, could it?, ah hah hah) and how it preserved the political perspective of the original, and, oh, Fortescues ...
