Oooo, I do love this. The line in the story is simple, while still conveying the complicated emotions. I love the sense of time ticking down, and I almost wonder if Sam's writing about the Slaugh victims or Dean himself.

I love how in the end, Dean does want to be saved and how Sam picks up on it.
