Great job with all of the characters here. I love that you've captured the dynamic of Bobby's relationship with John, and Xavier, and the teachers, as well as giving his point of view on the Rogue relationship from the original story.

About Bobby and John, I particularly like this:

one of those funny stories that people tell later to prove they're friends

... because it gets at the insecurity that's underlying Bobby's feelings about John -- and about everybody, really, including himself.
