This was a marvelous expansion of the drabble. I love how you've given the argument context, and shown it as House eavesdropping--as a tipping point, that last line is excellent. Your POV is quite distant, very objective and outside-omniscient, and while occasionally I had to read over to see whose head we were in, overall I thought it worked really well to give only the facts, and leave the interpretation (who was wrong, what they should have done) up to the reader. A very nice encapsulation of the Tritter arc, well done.
