I do like the original, with the stream-of-consciousnes, metaphors and atmospheric feel. The glimpses that I got from Draco's monologue are too intriguing to be left alone *g*
I plan to expand this remix and and write additional elements (fire, earth, air)--although that probably won't be done for months yet. Will be sure to keep you updated when that happens =)
Just curious, when you were writing the original, did you write Snape as on Dumbledore's side, on his own side, or...?
P.S. I really, really like your satire on Jonathan Swift. If I were a more productive writer, I would have written a second remix based on that.
