Very nice, I really enjoyed this! It was really interesting to see how much you took of the original story, but how different it was with the roles reversed. I thought John as the loner vampire was a very nice fit, the characterization worked quite well. And of *course* Rodney would resist anything that didn't feel like free will and would read voraciously on the subject of blood donors once he decided to become one. Also, the sex was very nice. ;)
