I'd kind of forgotten about this story, so I have to thank you for picking it and reminding me. I also have to thank you for doing something with the idea I wouldn't have thought of, which I suppose is the point of Remix.

The tone you have, tender and secretive and a little bit on guard, is very nice - it's what would probably happen if something so personal on House's part got shared without him wanting it out in the open.
