this is great! there ought to be more harriet jones appreciation out there, because she is great. admittedly, i can see why the country voted for harold saxon (and i love the dramatic irony of her putting her trust in the nation. woe indeed), but i'm glad that you gave harriet her golden age back. and that you gave the doctor a chance to apologise. badly, obviously, but he's the doctor. that is what he does. dialogue is perfect too. particularly harriet's.
