I don't know Buffy comics canon at all, but I loved this story a whole lot, regardless. You've made Caridad fun and sharp-eyed and grounded, and it is just a grand take on the whole business of slaying and heroing from someone who is on the inside, but only just. And it is funny as well as striking true:
