*likes this muchly* Knowing the original story, and reading this one, makes both a little sadder. I like the idea of that afterlife being so *restful*, and I like that it's not the actions of said 'hero' that makes Buffy leave.

I hope she and the protagonist get to meet up again, somewhere.
