The original story is somewhat disturbing too, I think; I mean, I adore it, it's one of my favorite things out there, but it toys with issues of consent in some fascinating ways. So I wanted the remix to live up to that, to reflect it, and of course being inside Rodney's head (instead of John's) changes the emotional impact of the fucked-up'd-ness, I think.
