Both versions of this story are great -- the first one with its photograph of Dean looking straight into Sam -- and this one, with Dean just registering Sammy's eyes....

Either way that ending certainly does pack a punch!

I feel like if Orpheus gets Eurydice all the way out of hell without looking, he gets to keep her... so, in my book, five years gone with both of them making it on their own-- Dean has to be clear of hell by now. So I say, go ahead and look! It'll be all right.
