Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it, knowing you're not the biggest main-universe-Wanda fan. And really, who KNOWS what was going on with her in canon, or if we'll ever find out (I'm hoping the current Uncanny arc will take us there, but it's too early to tell).

Anyway, I'm glad this turned out to be a good fit for 1602-Wanda (and it only occurred to me AFTER I had written the fic that I basically put her in the 'Order of the Phoenix.' Couldn't exactly call it that --)

It's interesting, because you would think that the Phoenix force, and reality-altering Wanda were right in Neil Gaiman's wheelhouse. But neither of the characters actually has much of anything to do in 1602, which I think is the only thing he's written with core Marvel characters (Tony and a few Avengers show up in 'The Eternals,' but that's about it). Maybe it's because 1602 focused on the early Marvel U, where Jean and Wanda's powers weren't very developed, but even the Phoenix only exists metaphorically in 1602. Still, it was fun to think about how Jean and Wanda's forces COULD fit into that world -- and what I apparently ended up with was an unholy marriage of Gaiman and Bendis, which is sort of terrifying.

Sorry I'm rambling -- glad you enjoyed!
