I like to think that the House of M and Decimation storylines are things that Gaiman would really enjoy working with if he were currently writing mainstream Marvel (*sighs* -- a girl can dream!) so it seemed natural to bring that version of Wanda into 1602-verse, even if it is a bit of an anachronism.
