Well, I think the ambition paid off here in a BIG way.
I spent a lot of time browsing Shelley for the original too, and I have to confess it wound up being him simply because he had so much bitingly appropriate poetry. That, and he was hot. XD
Your voices for DEATH and Shelley are such great complements to each other, and I love your Aziraphale voice too - sounds just right to me, exactly the sort who'd be coming to Crowley to half-confess his angst. Romanticism is so contagious, even angels can catch it.
Ha, if you'd done the Lyra segment there would have been TWO GO/HDM crossovers in the Remix this year (the other being the one I did for hyel. And this...remixing "Amid the Sacred Wreck" as the notes and encounters of a Book of Kells researcher (who would've been revealed as eventually abandoning the non-fiction angle and writing a historical romance instead).
I would, if not kill, at least severely injure to read this. I hope you do it someday. You have my blanket permission, to say the least! Oh, and that WAS you in that anonymous remix discussion post, wasn't it? Talking about historical fics and characters who know each other so well just switching POV wouldn't add much? I SO called it! Well, I think the approach you finally chose was bloody brilliant.
