Fab (and it made me read the original too, which was pretty damn good). Loved the writing, and the tone; the double resurrection (I find as I have been rewatching Firefly I am getting more interested in Book, and his past - yours is an option that works beautifully); the weird threesome Mal and Wash and Zoe fall into... Oh, and the chat between Mal and Wash in the captain's cabin was absolutely perfect - Wash's voice (and Mal's) both spot on.
