Purely sexual, raunchy and sizzling. Sometimes, that's all it needs to be. Especially when it comes to a bunch of horny young guys. ;)
I picked up on Clark's pulling Adam's hair as though he expected it to be Lex in a wig. Clearly, this wasn't the first time Clark has pretended to be hit on by a stranger. Wicked boys. ;) But then, role-playing and games can keep a relationship from becoming dull and boring. It also shows that there is a lot of trust between Clark and Lex, for them to play like that in public, and adds a certain degree of excitement to the game.
What I like most is how Lex and Clark only have eyes for each other, even while incorporating other participants. One could look at it as taking advantage of the unsuspecting, which doesn't seem appropriate for The Man Who Would Be Superman -- but Adam DID go to the club looking for sex, and he DID get off. Okay, so Lex gave the impression that it would affect his chances at the interview if he didn't take part. Intimidation, thy name is Luthor. Totally in-character and hey, it added a little extra danger/thrill-factor to the mix. All in the spirit of the game.
When it boiled down, though, there was no doubt in my mind that Lex and Clark are very much in love. I think even Adam realized this when Lex "dismissed" him. He didn't seem to mind, either. He had a good time with two sexy people. Everybody wins. The End.

All in all, an enjoyable story!
